Industry Advisory Committee

Assuris' corporate structure includes an Industry Advisory Committee, consists of seven representatives from Member Companies. They are elected by the members according to three size categories, based on required capital.

The Committee provides a vital link between the independent Board of Directors and the membership. The representatives have opportunities to give advice on all strategic issues of importance to the industry.

Their advice is sought on corporate matters such as; changes to by-laws, operating documents which may have a financial impact on the industry, industry assessements for funds to meet obligations when a company fails, and the benefits promised under Assuris protection.
