Micheline Dionne, FCIA
Ms. Dionne was formerly Senior Vice President & Chief Actuary of RGA Canada. Throughout her career, Ms. Dionne has held senior roles with several life insurance companies and is noted for her expertise in product pricing, valuation of liabilities of policyholders, risk management and asset liability management.
Ms. Dionne is currently active with the International Actuarial Association (IAA). She is the Chair of the Insurance Accounting Task Force charged with writing the actuarial model standards on insurance. She is the IAA delegate on the IFRS Advisory Council.
Ms. Dionne is Past-President of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA). She served with the Committee on Life Insurance Financial Reporting and the Actuarial Standards Board of Canada. She served twice on the CIA Board of Directors. She is currently member of the Professionalism committee and sits on committees working on the insurance accounting standards application for actuaries. She is also the CIA delegate on the IAA Council.
Ms. Dionne is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from Laval University.
Ms. Dionne was elected to the Board of Directors of Assuris in 2016.
