What happens if I have a group policy and an individual policy with the same company?
Separate protection is provided for Group and Individual insurance policies. If you are a member of a Group Insurance policy and you also have an individual policy with a life insurance company which has failed, Assuris considers them to be two separate policies and therefore the protection applies to each policy.
